Greetings from Michigan
I just tried the "64 bit trial version" and within minutes purchased the "64 bit version of QCAD." When I try to print a blue filled circle appears on my drawing. Is that a left over from the trial version. If so, how do I get rid of it?
I'm just an "old guy" who likes to code and make drawings to support my various hobbies.
Thanks in advance for help!
Tim
Blue circle on printouts - why?

Re: Blue circle on printouts - why?
No, likely a misconfiguration of sorts.
Please post your drawing file (DXF/DWG) and a screenshot, so we can see what you mean.
For all support requests, please:
- Indicate the operating system you are using and the version thereof (e.g. Windows 10 32bit, Windows 8.1 64bit, Ubuntu 14.2 64bit, macOS 10.12, etc.)
- Indicate the exact version of QCAD you are using (see Help > About or QCAD > About QCAD or indicate the name of the file you have downloaded and installed)
- Attach original drawing files (DXF, DWG, ...) if appropriate
- Attach exported files (SVG, PNG, PDF, ...) if appropriate
- Include screenshots if appropriate
- If there is an error message, indicate the exact message or include a screenshot of the message
- If using a command line tool, indicate that exact command used
Please be as specific as possible in describing your problem, so we can help you efficiently, thanks.

Re: Blue circle on printouts - why?
Andrew,
Thank you for your quick reply.
Here's a picture of the screen after selecting "PRINT PREVIEW" And here's the DXF file I am trying to print: (as attachment)
Version: 3.23.0.0 (3.23.0)
Internet: QCAD.org
Build Date: Jul 18 2019
Revision: 42e52bf
Qt Version: 5.5.1
Architecture: x86_64
Compiler: MSVC++ 12.0 (2013)
The graphic "SPRITE" is the logo found on Austin Healey Sprite automobiles about as close as I can model it.

Re: Blue circle on printouts - why?
Hi,
For some unknown reason there is one blue Point (Entity) in your drawing. Delete it and your issue is solved. To catch that point I recommend to use the selection filter - makes your life easier.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
If a thread is considered as "solved" please change the title of the first post to "[solved] Title..."

Re: Blue circle on printouts - why?
Deleting the blue circle would be the easy fix, wouldn't it? However, the blue circle doesn't appear until after I select "PRINT PREVIEW." When I select the "RED X" to cancel the printing process, it goes away.
I have successfully printed another file now, so I suspect there is something about that particular dxf file that is funny. I plan to look at the file in a text editor to see if I can find a filled circle element hiding somewhere.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Blue circle on printouts - why?
You can simply click the blue point in the print preview to select it and hit delete.
Or, as Husky suggested, use the selection filter (View > Selection Filter).
Or reduce the point printing size under:
Edit > Drawing Preferences > Printing > Page > Point Size (mm)

Re: Blue circle on printouts - why? SOLVED
Andrew,
Your second suggestion made the difference. Specifically, "drawing units" had not been selected/specified. When I specified "inches" all was well with PRINT PREVIEW.
Thank you
