Download Documenation

Post by cmh31909 » Thu Nov 28, 2019 2:13 am

Is there a way to get a copy of the documentation installed to my local drive so that I can reference it when not connected to the Internet?
When I use Help->Documentation in the program, it starts a web browser and goes to: https://qcad.org/doc/qcad/latest/reference/en/

Most of the time where I am using the package, I will not have reliable Internet connectivity, so it would be really nice to be able to download and install this on my local drive.

Thanks,
Carlton

Go to the end of the post in the link - would that pdf serve your needs?

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

QCAD Professional (as well as QCAD/CAM) comes with an integrated manual which can be viewed offline and has a search tool and an index. If a browser opens, you are using the free QCAD CE. I'll move this to the appropriate QCAD CE forum.

I'm using the Trial mode, which I assumed was fully functional until the trial period expires.
I looked in the install directory for the application and did not see any documentation files.

That is certainly better than nothing, thank you for the link!
