Nudge an entity using arrow keys?

Post by slyde » Thu Dec 07, 2017 11:01 pm

Hi Forum:

I was wondering if it's possible to nudge (move in tiny increments) an entity, say a Block, using the arrow keys.

Look! It's a bird. No! It's a plane! NO! It's QCAD hotkeys...faster than a possum falling out of a tree!!

OS: Linux Mint 18.3 Sylvia [64-bit]
QCAD Pro 3.19.2.0 [64-bit]

Not that I know of. And honestly I'm not sure for what that could be useful. Please elaborate a bit more.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
If a thread is considered as "solved" please change the title of the first post to "[solved] Title..."

Hi Slyde,

No that feature is not available in QCAD yet, maybe add a feature request!

Alongside QCAD I use another program and with that, nudging blocks and dimensions is extremely useful I agree.
For the best support please state your operating system, QCAD version and add any supporting DXF/DWG files, screenshots etc...

Hi Husky & Clive:

Thank you both for your information. My thoughts exactly, Clive. Maybe that will be added in a future release.

Have a great day, gentlemen. And thank you both for responding.

Yes, I also miss that sometimes but never got round to implement this.

Anyway, it's now implemented for the next release:
