Mancato caricamento dei riferimenti delle immagini

Post by giemme1969 » Thu Jan 20, 2022 7:27 pm

Versione:
3.27.1.0 (3.27.1)
Internet:
QCAD.org
Data Compilazione:
Dec 13 2021
Revisione:
2726424
Versione Qt:
5.13.2
Architettura:
x86_64
Compilatore:
MSVC++ 14.0 (2015)

S.O: Windows 11

Saluti,
CVH

Hi,
Images/bitmaps are not stored in dxf format.
Only a link to the image file is stored.

QCAD displays no placeholder without the image file present.
Only a reference where the origin is situated.
Remark that an image has no Height/Width properties.
The advantage is that one can manipulate the linked image at will outside QCAD.

Regards,
CVH

Ok.

To help you we need your help. Please tell us the whole story ...

Why is Andrews suggestion not working for you?
We are talking about a few drawings or a bunch of drawings?
dxf or dwg?
If a bunch dxf - you are familiar with Text Editor programs?
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Hello Husky and thank you for your interest.
The problem is very simple: for various reasons I may need to reorganize the job folders, after creating drawings that include images contained in other folders (even if only to avoid having multiple duplicates of the same images). It would therefore be useful to be able to manually view and modify the pointing address of the images themselves. This function is possible in Autocad and in all the various versions of the software created with the Intellicad platform. It is also present in Draftsight. It would not be bad - for me - if it were also present in Qcad.

That can be viewed/changed in the Property Editor.

I understand that the Selection Filter won't solve your issue with multiple image files in one drawing.
Especially if you don't know/remember the file names.
Selecting on zero Width or Height would return N image entities with filename = *VARIES* ...

This is a quick and dirty script that queries images in a drawing and halts if Width or Height is below a threshold.
The threshold is coded as RS.PointTolerance what is 1.0e-9 and that should catch any zero sized image.
It then selects only that image entity and terminates.
Layers containing images should be visible and entities selectable.
SelectZeroImage.js
(1.06 KiB) Downloaded 411 times

The script can be run from its stored position with Misc menu .. Development .. Run Script (XC)
Scripts are textual files, feel free to translate the messages or alter it with a text editor.

Sorry for the English on the Italian forum.
And no, it is not a list nor a file manager.
The main solution is still to keep drawings and images in the same folder.

Regards,
CVH
