Trasparenza nel tratteggio solido

Post by giemme1969 » Tue Jan 14, 2020 10:43 pm

a) la possibilità di gestire la trasparenza nei tratteggi solidi (è presente nell'inserimento immagini, ma non nel tratteggio solido) che può servire ad evidenziare aree didisegno, oppure a creare sfondi;
b) una funzione abbastanza evoluta per il ritaglio delle immagini (che possa consentire il ritaglio di un immagine utilizzando , ad esempio, una polilinea;

Hello Gabriele - welcome to the QCAD forum

A) yes, I would like to see that too.
B) not sure about that. QCAD is a plain CAD program and not a graphic design software.

Customizable Symbols: Well, QCAD offers a ton of option to arrange your GUI. To much to mention all of them ...
Just a few of them: You can use shortcuts - if nessery rename the shortcuts, you can use symbols which can be made visible or invisible, you can use toolbars which are placable where ever you need them or if you don't need them at all switch them off, you can use the Tool Matrix - same story - turn only the mostly needed tools on and last but not least - you can use the menu. And yes - if you don't need a tool in the menu turn it off.
The tool settings can be found below Application Preferences:

screenshot: above

My setting is: All tools in the menu. Icons and Toolbars only those which I need all the time ...
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Thanks for your answer.
As for the cropping of the image, I would not aspire to a complex function, it would be enough to be able to crop the image also by selecting the cropping area rectangular. This is to avoid having to proceed to prepare the image before insertion into the drawing.

As for the customization of the GUI, I will try simulations but, if I am not wrong, the icons cannot be positioned anywhere, but only made appear / hidden within the tools provided. So I can't edit the GUI like in the example:

Sì e no: dipende dalle icone che devi disporre.

Yes and no - depends on which icons you need to arrange. But you are right - there are to a certain extant limitation - as always. On the other hand if the developer implements really every possibility what you can think of then it will be reflected sooner or later in the price of the software. I'm pretty happy with the current QCAD Professional price and accept those little limitation because the cost-benefit ratio is in my opinion unbeaten.
