[solved] Library Parts - Incorrect size
Hi, I'm trying to insert library parts into a drawing in Model Space but the parts come in at the wrong size. For example, I'm trying to add the "People Group" from the Architecture/People Folder into a 1:1 drawing, but they end up only 6.3mm tall!! On the ribbon at the top, the Scale is set to 1:1, when doing the insert. What is going wrong?
Re: Library Parts - Incorrect size
The unit for "people_group_silhouettes.dxf" is "none".
QCAD will convert an inserting drawing to the actual used drawing unit. In this case none to mm.
Size of a person in "people_group_silhouettes.dxf" is around 6 (unit none).
If you insert that in a drawing, which uses mm, then the scale factor has to be something around 300. (6 none x 300 = 1800 mm)

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Re: Library Parts - Incorrect size
Thanks Husky. I see - that works.
(Thought the size of the items in the library would be of the correct size in the first place.)
Cheers
