When I tried drawing a drainage linestyle on an arc, it wants to go the wrong way. It wants to go this way whether I reverse the points, redraw it with the arc tool, make it with the parallel tool, mirror it, flip it, and even if I use the OTHER drainage linestyle that runs the opposite direction. I can force it by drawing a spline along some points placed on an arc. But I'm wondering why I can't just get it to work in the first place.

Yes, I can confirm that for your version (3.25.2). It is fixed with the QCAD Snap Version: 3.25.2.9 what means it is part of the next stable QCAD release.
