Re: orthogonal
Hi,
Line? Yes, you can use the line tool "Orthogonal" (Menu / Draw / Orthogonal),
Copy? Will you move entities orthogonal or only horizontal/vertical restricted?
Overall Button? With what function?
Please elaborate more precisely what you intend to do. Thanks.
I don't think that I fully understood your question ...

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Re: orthogonal
Perhaps, you are looking for
Snap > Restrict Orthogonally
Or you can also press and hold the Alt-Key while drawing a line, moving a selection, etc.

Re: orthogonal
Hi Andrew
I believe Andre may be looking for the same thing I am.
In Autocad pressing the F8 key turns on/off ( toggles) the Ortho function which locks the cursor movement to the horizontal or vertical plane enabling the drawing of straight lines (or moving objects) in either of those orientations.
Does Qcad have a similar function?
I too have used Autocad for over 20 years and just switched to Qcad.
Nice software, thanks for all your effort.

Re: orthogonal
The Alt key seems to do the same thing.
It is just seems a little bit clunky compared to being able to turn the function on and leaving it on for multiple operations.
Thanks

Re: orthogonal
You can lock a snap like "Restrict Orthogonally" (EO) with "Lock Snap" (SQ) and use it for multiple operations ...
