Has the QCAD forum changed?

Post by lphilpot » Sun Nov 03, 2019 3:56 pm

There was an option on the Quick links menu to show only unread posts, but it's no longer there. In fact I had bookmarked that link:

search.php?search_id=unreadposts

It was an easy way to quickly see what's new. Now when I go there, I get "The requested page could not be found." Is there a new place to see all unread posts?

Thanks.

Edit: I just realized this should've gone in the Site Feedback board. Sorry about that.

There's currently a DDoS attack underway on our server, mostly using the forum search functionality in an attempt to bring the server down by triggering lots of CPU / DB intensive queries. Forum search has been disabled for now until the attack is over. Luckily the rest of our infrastructure can easily cope.

My apologies. Everything should be back to normal. DDoS attacks are slightly annoying but luckily not much more than that.
