X-scaling of text not stored in dxf

Post by Gerhard_Wien » Fri Mar 12, 2021 10:23 pm

Hello!
I can scale text (make it narrower or wider then the standard) by use of the property editor.
The scales text is displayed correctly.

But after saving the file and reopening the scaling is reset to 1 (no scaling)
What am I missing?

Unfortunately, dxflib cannot store that aspect. The QCAD Community Edition is using dxflib for DXF input / output. Arguably, that property should not be displayed at all for the QCAD CE.

Thank you for the speedy answer!
If I understand it correctly: the QCAD Professional version will solve this?

Yes, QCAD Professional uses the OpenDesign libraries for DXF (and DWG) input / output which don't have that limitation.
