Remove trial pro problems: Win 7 64 bit

I have downloaded the trial version 3.21.3.0 (3.21.3) into Win 64 bit. I like its transparency and ease of use. About says it is the Community Edition.

I tried it out intermittently (that is pretty much how I will use it), then I reinstalled it. Now every now and then it says Trail Expired and QCAD crashes, losing what work I have done.

I have read two sorts of instructions about removing the programme: the first is removal if files in the plugins folder of QCAD...the files are not there.. The second is to deselect the options i the Trial Widget...I cannot see a Trail widget and do not remember ever seeing one. If I ask to View/Toolbars and widgets/Widgets, the Trial is not listed.

So I am a bit stuck! Could anyone help, please?

Hi,

Normally there would be a widget...

I would start overnew.
Remove Qcad completely including the Win ini file.
Maybe you could search for some post about removing the program as an extra guide.
From a clean slate:
Download and install the trial pro package of your preference.
And use the first post in this section to remove the trial pro features.

Thanks for the reply.

Weirdly, the next time I opened it it is working fine. I deliberately left it open all night, with a picture loaded, and it's fine.

I don't remember seeing that Community Edition in the About before, so something has fixed itself. :|

Probably restarting was all you needed to do more. :D
