Isometric conversion

Post by owenb » Wed Nov 27, 2019 11:25 pm

Hi new member Owen in New Zealand. Running Community version 3.22 on windows 7. Want to use 2D cad for model engineering parts. Would like to be able to convert orthographic parts to isometric, but not having any success. Does this require Professional version? Happy to purchase that version if required. Can't find many tutorials for Qcad, youtube, etc. Regards, Owen.

No, QCAD CE has the basic projection tools too :D
To check the differences between CE and Pro look at the QCAD feature list below "Misc features", "Projections":

There are not much out there but maybe this will help a bit:

If you need more help please feel free to ask. Maybe an simple excample drawing from you would help to explain it step by step.

BTW - this is also done with QCAD .... but Pro

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
