Hi All
I'm having a small problem using the cam for plasma.
When I generate the gcode the corners are all rounded on outside cuts. How can I avoid this?
I have tried scanning the forum and I've tried settings. I do have a custom post processor but that is derived from laser offset mm and only includes a file extension change to '.tap'
Any pointers would be great.
Regards
Rob

Re: rounded corners
Hi,
I don't have Qcad its CAM yet.
But I suspect what can be wrong.
It might be that your setup is configured to fly through the corners.
OR
You are using a mill offset.
Try to post a simple design with these flaws in dxf as in Gcode.
So we can rule Qcam out ... or in.
If its your setup, I need some further details of your driver.
Kind, settings as: speed, maxspeed, acceleration, max acceleration, path trajectory planner.
