Hi.
I have 2 problems with nesting (for what i mainly bought QCAD). I have few pieces that im 200% sure fiting to the 4 sheets of steel.
Problem 1 - when trying to add margins qcad shuting down without any popup
Problem 2 - after nesting finish, i still have many parts left that were not placed on sheets
Friend of mine, in nestingworks doing that without any problem.
I cant add dxf file because these are property of our company, but i can place a a screenshot
Im using Windows 10 with 3.28.1.0 (3.28.1) version of QCAD

Please send us the file via private message or email ([email protected]), so we can try and reproduce the crash.
Note that nesting is always a "best effort" solution. It is absolutely possible that a human or other software can find other, better solutions.

Note that you are comparing QCAD/CAM with a software that costs several thousand dollars. I would expect that software to find better solutions.Friend of mine, in nestingworks doing that without any problem.
