Introduction

Post by FBXL5 » Sat Oct 23, 2021 2:00 pm

Good Morning All:

I have been in the community for a while now and have been "sandbagging" as the old time CBers used to say.

I started out in engineering and design as a Drafting and Design graduate from a technical college. Am self taught in the field of Antenna design.

Worked on a "board" for +/- 8-10 years and started out with HPEGS CAD software, migrated to AutoCAD Version 1 for DOS.

I have always used some version of AutoCAD but have operated various pieces of software: Microstation, Inventor, CATIA, and I am now using Solidworks on my regular employ.

I do a lot of various design work at home & at work; Industrial, Architectural, Commercial Transformers, HVAC 3D.

I came to QCAD after a long search. Several factors convinced me that this was my go to 2D CAD Software for my uses. Cost, Operability, Support, etc.

Keep up the good work all.
