opening blocks & other *.dwg files

This may already be known.
opening *.dwg files where the lines look very blurred,
My user error.
I found to be not setting the
General: Drawing Units> Drawing Unit Option from "None" to something else, like "Inch".
Hope this helps some one. let me know if it did.
