Have been aware of QCAD for quite some time. Interested in the community version because of ability to run under Linux and available in the PCLinuxOS. I was pretty well setup using DraftSight free version and thought I had it well backed up, just in case something would happen.
It did bad luck and I lost 3 systems when hard disks failed. I have just installed QCAD and are trying to find enough time to become familiar with operation.
Needed for simple mechanical drawing work. I like what I have seen so far.
Tried to import one of my old reference files. Unfortunately failing and I have not yet found out why.
