Does that mean that you cannot see any tooltips, i.e. nothing happens if your mouse hovers over a button or is there a problem with colors or the font of tool tips?

Are you using dark or light mode?

Could be a focus problem. Can you switch to another application and back to QCAD and see if that works?

Is QCAD the active running application? To be sure click with the mouse pointer anywhere in an free canvas area and hover then with the mouse pointer over a tool icon.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this problem here (also Mojave 10.14.6, QCAD/CAM 3.24.3.0).
Occasionally, this does happen, but I can easily fix it by switching to another app (Command-Tab, Command-Tab again). This is likely a but of Qt in combination with macOS.

I'd recommend to try one of the other packages for older macOS versions for example the one for macOS 10.10-10.13. This uses a different version of Qt.

Tooltips suddenly reappeared.
Not sure about what triggered this, seems it was the resizing of the QCAD window ...
Let's seen how this behaves during the coming days.

Hi. I have the same problem now with my new mac mini running the new M1 processor, Big Sur 11.4 and
Qcad 3.26.4. I tried it on an older mac and don't have this problem. I can't learn this way so I'm wondering if there's a solution?

Thanks Gary,
