Hello

Post by Larryd » Mon Mar 23, 2020 4:50 pm

Hello. I'm a retired engineer who has written several books (www.lawrencedworsky.com). I am currently contemplating a new book which will require numerous drawings of mechanical structures such as clock escapements. I think Qcad will be my working CAD software; I am just learning it and am very pleased. Can anybody point me to some beginner's tutorials and/or examples of creating drawings from scripts?

Thanks,
Larry

At the bottom of this page (below Developers) you will find a few links regarding scripting ...

... and if you are new to the whole CAD topic I recommend to read the QCAD Book written by Andrew Mustun

QCAD An Introduction to Computer-Aided Design (CAD)Andrew Mustun

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
