[solved] QCAD window does not launch/open

I just purchased and downloaded QCAD Pro 3.22.0 win64, when I try to open the program no window opens, but I see the app open on my task bar. I have windows 10. Don't know where to go from here.
The same thing occurred when I tried to use the trial version, which I removed from my cpu prior to downloading the pro version.
