Maybe Memory problem with new version

Post by MaxCap_54 » Tue Apr 26, 2022 2:24 pm

Hello,
I use MAcBook air with laest Monterey version
Today I've just installed the new Qcad-pro version the 3.27.2.0 (3.27.2).
When I use a paper space and add a new layout window if I try to move the added window in the paper space Qcad go to loop and doesn't respond more, so the only thing I can do is to force quit..
How can I restore precedent version ?
How can I solve this bug ?
Thanks

I cannot reproduce this problem here. Please attach your drawing file and indicate how you proceed. The more details you provide the more likely we can help, thanks.

Andrew:
If I understand MaxCap_54's issue correctly, I have started having the same issue after the update to 3.27.2.0 (3.27.2).
With the previous version, I have been working with multiple sheets for quite some time that contain numerous viewports without issue.

The issue:
If I select a viewport in paper space, then try to use the move command, selecting any of the 4 corner reference points to move the viewport or select the viewport and grab it to move it, within paper space, Qcad freezes and I must force quit. I did not have this issue in the previous version.

If I use the viewport reference points that are inside the viewport to move the viewport or move the contents of the viewport, it works fine.
If I resize the view port using the corner reference points, it works fine.
It is only when trying to move the viewport with the four corner reference points that it freezes.
I have attached a very simple file that exhibits this issue for me. I truly believe it is something in the update causing this.

Thank you
Mark
