Qcad CRASH deleting text font size on Dialog

Post by Giuliano69 » Tue Aug 17, 2021 3:21 pm

Hi,
tried to set some text... I needed a 0.1 font size
AND I noticed that if I delete the font size in the Dialog, just after pressing the backspace the program locks... and crash

Are you experiencing such a behavior on other platform ?

Win7 pro WinInstaller
QCAD Professional
Version: 3.26.4.5 (3.26.4.5)
Internet: QCAD.org
Build Date: Jul 20 2021
Revision: e596276
Qt Version: 5.13.2
Architecture: i386
Compiler: Unknown

When I clear the Height RMathLineEdit field with backspace I simply get a tooltip saying:
  • Text Height in Drawing Units
    Expresion is empty

I cannot reproduce a crash with the same package under Ubuntu 20. However, I do notice a considerable lag when clearing the height input (maybe 10 sec). Please confirm if it crashes there or if there is a delay, perhaps wait for 30 sec.

In any case, the delay seems to stem from a Linux internal thing but can be avoided on the QCAD side. This will be fixed for the next release.
