Dimensioning Scale Factor Dialog NOT 1:1 on OLD files

Post by Giuliano69 » Thu Aug 12, 2021 12:21 pm

Hi all,
When I am dimensioning an old file, a NEW dialog appears, claiming that the scale factor for the dimension is NOT 1:1
The quoted dimension i crazy....
Indeed I found a strange scale factor (1288.50 ) that I cannot explain... If I set it to 1:1 dimension comes back to normality...

I tried the "Drawing preferences" but I did not find the solution..

Maybe I changed some settings and have this problem as a side effect ?
WHERE or HOW can I fix this behavior ? I must now fix by hand dimension after dimension.... :-(

When you launch a dim tool an option bar pops up above your drawing area. One of the options is "Scale" of the dimension. This option is remembered by QCAD what means the last used setting will stay until you change it again. If this setting isn't 1:1 a warning for the user pops up - that is the warning what you mentioned in your post.
Solution: Change the scale to 1:1 and everything is back to normal ...

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
