I noticed that in many dwg IMPORTED document, the thickness size is wrong: many times it is huge and almost useless...
The thickness of the drawing elements get their values "from layer"; it seems that Qcad has problems reading the "original" line thickness from layer
Clearly, when the dwg was created (with Autocad) the thickness was thinner.... and if they reopen the file, the thickness shows on Autocad as it should be...
But when I import the file in Qcad, it seems that the import filter is having problem reading the thickness property of the layer ... and assume a wrong value....
The situation get even worst when there is an block object: it does not change the thickness simply changing the property of the layer, but need to open the object and fix the line thickness....
Furthermore, even the line used to draw the text shows such thickness IMPORT problem
After describing the bug.... Some Questions:
- Have you ever experienced such behavior ?
- Is it a Qcad bug, of a dwg file limitation ?
- How is it possible that the another cad program, with the SAME files, get the right thickness?
- Is it possible a "general settings" fix to this issue, or do I have to fix by hand layer from layer ?
PS
