I have found that new items do no display if I add an object to my custom Library. I have tried using the update database (at the bottom of the Library Browser) but no luck.
The only way that I can get the Library to update is to delete the Library in the Widgets settings, then adding the Library after restarting QCAD.
Is this a bug or operator error?

Re: Library Does Not Update
Hi,
Please define 'custom' in:
Or under a specific path listed in App.Prefs?
Please define 'delete' in:
So far, with QCAD open, adding a dxf under ...\QCAD\libraries\default or one of the subfolders, it is listed once I update the database.
By Application Library Browser Preferences my library synchronizes on boot and that works too.
And it pops up simply by changing to another folder in the Library Browser.
Deleting the database may fix some issues in some rare cases.
Found in the same folder as QCAD3.ini/conf (library_3_0_0_9.db)
Regards,
CVH
Please define 'custom' in:
Under ...\QCAD\libraries\... or since 3.26.2 in the local data location?
Or under a specific path listed in App.Prefs?
Please define 'delete' in:
Did you mean 'hide' aka 'close'?

Re: Library Does Not Update
Thanks CVH
By 'custom' I mean 'specific path'
By 'delete" I mean delete the listing in the Widget settings (see attachment).
I will check deleting the database that you mentioned.
In the meantime (after reading the tutorial again) I discovered that I can use the Windows file explorer to import the parts. Seems easy enough.

Re: Library Does Not Update
'delete' aka removing from the Library Sources in App.Prefs.
I can confirm that with the specific source path set, a dxf placed under ...\QCAD\libraries is included after an update.
That is: In the folder 'libraries', aside the folders 'default' & 'templates'.
