[Solved] Drawing Unit & Ruler Display

Post by ryancousins » Tue Mar 30, 2021 2:50 pm

QCAD 3.26.1, Win10 Pro

I run QCAD and the default drawing unit for the new drawing is inches. (image 1)
I change the drawing units to mm. The ruler changes to reflect this. (image 2)
I change the drawing units back to inch. The ruler does not change back. (image 3)

Should I put this in the bug tracker or is this not a bug?

The ruler number format is determined based on the dimension label format under:
Edit > Drawing Preferences > Dimension > Dimension Settings > Label Format

Architectural and Engineering imply Inch as drawing unit, so that changes to decimal when switching to Millimeter. However, since decimal is possible for all units, it does not revert back when changing the unit to Inch.
