Splines that look like circles/slot holes

Post by Q_RIS » Tue Mar 09, 2021 7:47 am

Hey there, I work a lot with sheet metal parts that are build with different 3d cad programs
and get these parts in unfolded/unrolled state saved in dxf files.
Unfortunatly some of these programs change circles and slot holes to splines when the parts get unrolled.
Those Splines aren't viewed correctly in QCad.
I thought probably the rollback within QCad to OpenDesign Libraries 4.3.2 would help to get it right,
but it didn't.
Is there a possability to workaround or is it necessary to wait til ODA changes that somewhen in the future? Image

Unfortunately, these types of splines with weighted control points are not supported by QCAD at this point.

Ah yeah, thanks for the clarification Andrew,
so it isn't an ODAImage Issue,
I didn't realize that there is yet another type of splines...
