Qcad version; Windows 3.25.2 64bit
Hi - I am new to qcad but experienced cad user.
When I create a viewoprt; Draw>viewport>create. The rectangle I drag in model space shows up in paper space print preview & prints?? Surely this cant be right the rectangle is just to indicate to view to print, not part of the drawing.
Help please.

The viewport rectangle belongs to one of your layers just like any other geometry in your drawing. I think what a lot of people do, myself included, is to create a separate "viewport" layer. That way you can hide that from your print output independently from all of the other stuff you intend to remain visible.
