Dimension scale off but settings set to 1.0

Post by laxarcher » Wed Jan 27, 2021 6:04 am

If I draw a 5” line the properties show it correctly as 5”. But when I dimension that same line, the dimension shows as 25.0 (off by a factor of 5). When I go to drawing preferences, dimensioning, the scale is set to 1.0. Got any suggestions for me?

The dimension scale is off ...

Launch a dim tool,
an option bar pops up on the top of your Model_Space,
check the scale setting - it shout be 1"= 1", 1:1 or 1 to get the accurate measurement.
