AutoCad LT DWG problem
I bought the QCad professional for a mechanical drawing I'm doing, but in the future, I may be have to do some P&ID's. I tried loading some of my symbol blocks and a drawing frame and the line weights are all so thick nothing is legible. Will all AutoCad dwg drawings need some kind of re-formating to make them usable? Not every .dwg I have looks like line wt's in the 100's, a couple of them look normal. Thinking about it, the symbols may have been made in AutoCad R14, and some of the other drawings made in AutoCad LT. Any ideas?
Re: AutoCad LT DWG problem
An efficient support is much easier with an example drawing. Could you please attache one of those drawings to your post? Thanks.

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Re: AutoCad LT DWG problem
I can't attach a drawing, they are proprietary, but attached are a couple of symbols. These may be from AutoCad R14, don't remember for sure.Husky wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 12:32 amAn efficient support is much easier with an example drawing. Thanks for your help.
Re: AutoCad LT DWG problem
Great - thanks!
Every one of your Layer's has a Lineweight set to "default".
QCAD will read the actual value within the setting in "Application Preferences" (Menu/Edit/Application Preferences/Graphic View/Appearance). You can change that value to 0.25 or what ever fits your needs ...
... or change the Lineweight attribute in every single layer.

Re: AutoCad LT DWG problem
Thanks, I figured it was a line weight issue, just didn't know if there was a simple fix, I'll give your first suggestion a try. I didn't want to go through layer by layer to fix problem, seems potentially time consuming.
