Corruptions when creating pdf with snapshots

Post by TSG » Thu Nov 19, 2020 11:25 am

I'm using: macOS 10.15.7, QCAD 3.25.2.4

I know that snapshots can still contain bugs that may be fixed in the next official release. Nevertheless, I would like to point out a serious error in the last two snapshots 3.25.2.2 and 3.25.2.4.

To explain this, I would like to describe two different scenarios:

1. Drawing with drawing units: mm and paper unit: mm
I place the block "GAS" (contains polyline, hatching "Solid" and text) with a scale of 1: 1 in the drawing.
-> The block is displayed correctly in the Model_Space.
I create a pdf from this drawing using the print dialog.
-> The block is displayed correctly in the pdf.

2. Drawing with drawing units: m and paper unit: mm
I place the "GAS" block with a scale of 1000: 1 in the drawing.
-> The block is displayed correctly in the Model_Space.
I also create a pdf from this drawing.
-> The block is displayed corrupted in the pdf.

This error first appeared in the snapshots. In the official version 3.25.2, the block in the pdf is displayed correctly in both cases. Other blocks that do not contain any "Solid" hatching are shown correctly in the pdf.
