Problem to launch qcad-3.25.2-pro-win64

Post by Husky » Fri Sep 04, 2020 7:05 pm

Hi,

downloaded and installed the newest QCAD version (Archive). When I start QCAD it counts up the add ons up to 99% ...... and disappears.

I used the qcad-3.25.2-pro-win64.zip to run on a Win10/64
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro

I cannot reproduce this here. Not with the ZIP or the MSI on Windows 10 64bit. Can you try a reset?

Yep, I did and QCAD starts normal. Any idea which setting in the Application Preferences caused the problem?

Could it be the library browser being open at start up? Can you try to open the library browser again?

It's likely a deployment issue. A faulty DLL or something. I will probably have to redeploy.

Yes. If I turn the library widget off in an older version I can start 25.2. If I then turn on the library browser in 25.2 QCAD will close itself.

OK. I've rolled back this release. There's definitely something wrong with the Qt DLLs. I've also noticed the code signing stopped working. Will look into this next week. Thanks for the heads up.
