Version QCAD Professional 3.23.0.0 (3.23.0)
Windows 10 Version 10.0.17763 Build 17763
If you draw a line say horizontally from left to right, then draw another line on the top of the original but starting for the original lines endpoint and ending at its start point, now select all, and you will see that there are indeed two lines selected as shown in the property window ‘Line [2]’. If you now perform an MD it says that no duplicate entities have been found.
Note that MD will detect duplicates correctly if lines which are overlaid are in the same direction each time.
Is this a bug?

Check option "Ignore Direction" in the options toolbar at the top when running the detection.

Thanks Andrew,
I didn't see that option, and yes it works okay.
