Slow print preview in v 3.22.0.0

After updating QCAD professional (Windows 10) to version 3.22.0.0 (previously version 3.17.3) the time it takes to go to print preview has increased significantly. It sometimes takes twice as long as it did in the previous version (same files tested in both versions of the program).
Is there anything I can do to decrease the time it takes to get a print preview?

Is that with an empty file or with a particular drawing (in the latter case, please attach)?

Unfortunately, I can’t send you the file in question because it’s classified.
The file is 7762kb with a lot of objects and layers. It’s a big file and it’s not like it was fast before, but since the update it takes a lot longer to go to print preview.
When all the objects are on the same layer there is no problem, it only takes about 35sec. But with everything on separate layers it takes at least 5min.
