[solved] pdf losing some polylines

Post by jackieh » Tue May 16, 2017 10:24 pm

Hi again
Another strange pdf problem, I'm afraid. When I try to make a pdf, a few of my lines go missing (not many, but they are there for a reason!). It happens both on screen and on opening the pdf. I'd attach the dxf file, but it's larger than allowed (2.2MB), so instead I've attached a word document with a couple of screen prints.

I hope this has a very easy solution, and looking forward to hearing from you.

Jackie

Hi Jackieh

Can you copy and paste only the problem lines/entities into a new drawing and upload for testing please.
For the best support please state your operating system, QCAD version and add any supporting DXF/DWG files, screenshots etc...

Hi
I've attached the drawing, with just the lines, but the properties of have not been preserved - and it works fine in pdf. AS a result, in the original dwg, I changed one of the lines from dash to continuous and that was also fine. So, the problem seems to be with having a dashed line.

Looking forward to a solution!

Thanks, Jackie
