I have QuadCam 3.12.8 on openSUSE Linux_64
In the attached file, I have two polylines separated by a gap, the gap filled with a hatch.
I am trying to add a Node to straight segment in one of the two polylines
I select Draw-Line-Polyline-Insert Node, get the prompt to select segment, click on a segment, but quadcam seems to want to always insert the node in a particular segment, not the one I clicked, I am guessing the first or last segment.
Is there a trick to selecting a particular segment in a polyline?

Re: Issues adding Node to polyline
Hi cmcgrath5035,
thanks for the example drawing!
I tested this drawing (and yes it behaves weird!) and created also new polylines with all kinds of corner transition for testing. Every shape works like expected.
But ... If I create a polyline with the offset tool every shape works nicely except the one which are created with an arc transition. I would consider that as a bug.
@Andrew
Could you please have a look at this issue. Thanks.

Re: Issues adding Node to polyline
I am happy to give you something to work on !
This is a pool design, I needed to make it 2 feet shorter, maintaining the end detail.
My work around was to isolate the polylines one at a time on it's own layer, explode it, shorten the two long segments, then use modify -move/copy to reconnect the segments.
After that I selected all the segments and created a new polyline. It worked.
I am still learning advanced polylines, so wondered if I was missing something.

Interesting - thanks for sharing your workaround!cmcgrath5035 wrote:My work around was to isolate the polylines one at a time on it's own layer, explode it, shorten the two long segments, then use modify -move/copy to reconnect the segments.

Maybe for the next challenge to modify something like this you could also consider to use the "Stretch tool"cmcgrath5035 wrote:This is a pool design, I needed to make it 2 feet shorter, maintaining the end detail.
