Layout paper Space not working (Solved)

Sonoma 14.1.1 QCAD 3.28.2.2 Running on M1 Mac

Since doing the latest update to my OS, I cannot get Layout blocks to work.

If I go to Layout space it is all block and everytime I click on it I get this message. See attached image.
Then the Layout( Paper Space is all Black). When I do a Viewport I get weird images. See attached image.

Please let me know how to fix this problem.

Is this the intended file because this one is in inches?
The Print Preview notice definitely says 330x482mm ...

Yes it is the intended file. I have always worked in imperial and have no idea why the system decided to change to metric after doing an os update?

I have just created a new test file and can get Laout1 to work but if I try to add a second Layout Block the screen is black. I cannot see the 'page'. I can add a Viewport but you will see that there is no page?

Mostly looks like nonzero Z in blocks and a block scaled.

Over here the files seems OK.
I see a "Detail Floor Plan of Bathroom and Kitchen"
... With lots of extra details and information on the Layout itself.
The page has the middle pillar in the left high corner

Drawing and paper are in inch and the selected paper is Super B ...

A new Layout would be blank of course.
After creation the screen should be a white page and gray surrounding the paper ... Not black at all.
Unless you have turned of auto preview mode for layouts ...?

Your second file handles perfect over here.

Any chance if you have already tried to reset your configuration ...?

I have deleted and reloaded the QCAD application as well as deleting the QCAD config file.
I am unable to find the library file: To reset the library browser, delete also the file library_3_0_0_9.db

With new app and new config settings I am still getting the custom paper size in metric?
And when I add a new Layout Block, I only get the black screen with graph and no greyed rectangle representing the page.

Since recent the Library Browser is replaced by a QCAD Pro only version.
The old library_3_0_0_9.db file is no longer in use.

I can not replicate your issues on an old Win7 32bit machine even using the latest QCAD release that I do not favor.

Thanks for trying. I suspect that this is an issue between the Apple OS and QCAD.

What installation package did you use?
The Mac packages on the trial downloads tells us:

• QCAD Trial for macOS
  M1/M2/M3
  (arm 64bit, NOT for Intel CPUs)
  macOS 11.x-14.x
  Disk Image
  Version 3.28.2

3.28.2.2 is a snapshot, have you tried 3.28.2.0?

Circle: I can confirm the problem with adding a layout block with QCAD Professional 3.28.2 on macOS M1/M2/M3.

As a workaround, you can right-click on an existing layout block and choose "Duplicate Block".

The problem has been fixed in our development version. An updated package for this platform will be released shortly.

This morning I tested QCAD on my MacBook Pro with the Intel chip and all was good. As you said in your message, it's on the M chip series.
