Not successful printing from Paper Space with a viewport

Post by Ken H » Tue Sep 21, 2021 7:24 pm

I have read the manual and searched to solve an issue but have come up empty. I was an experienced AutoCAD and Microstation user years ago and recently purchased QCAD.

I am trying to print after drawing my model at 1"=1" in Model Space. I set up Paper Space with a landscape ArchD 24"x36" border. Paper space is set to 1"=1" and I inserted a Viewport at 48"=1". I did these things after reading the manual. I want the viewport to be at 1/4"=1'-0" scale. (However, that did not work and only setting it at 48"=1" worked visually).

My problem is that there is no Print Preview and when I attempt to print to a PDF the page is blank. How can I fix this?

Drawing Unit: Inch
Paper Unit: Inch
Measurement System: Imperial
Print > Page:
Scale: 48"=1" (Also tried 1/4"=1'-0")
ArchD:
Paper Width: 24" (Grayed out)
Paper Height 36" (Grayed out)
It's set for landscape but these stats show otherwise.

(I attached the screen capture to show what the drawing looks like in paper space)

QCAD Version 3.26.4
x86_64bit
Win10
8gb RAM
