Drawing scale: 1 to 1
Viewport Scale is: 1:24
In the layout mode, I dimension and the Linear Factor for the dimension is 12.
In the Preferences I have Size Scale Factor set to 1
What setting am I missing?
thanks

So far I can't reproduce the issue. Please attach the dxf for further investigation. Thanks.

Re: Dimensions not scaling along with Viewport
Thanks for the drawing.
I can reproduce the issue but I'm not sure what is going on. It looks to me that there is a rounding problem in QCAD.
Fact is: If I take a Viewport with a scale of 1/24 the produced viewport in Paper_Space has an actual scale of 1/23.27272727 or as the Property Editor will show it as 11/256" ... where the " is already a funny thing. Taking then a dim in Paper_Space works only with a manual scale factor (1/24 etc) - the Auto option fails!
@Andrew
Could you please have a look at this issue? Thanks!

I think this is just a duplicate post from the same issue:

Thanks Husky and Andrew for taking a look at this problem.
Is this a problem that I may have created in my newbie approach? Or is it a problem with QCAD?

Circle: is this the same problem as described here:

Or a different problem? If so, can you please elaborate?

Re: Dimensions not scaling along with Viewport
Good question Andrew. Yes, it is related - problem goes back to the Linear Factor.
As long as I enter in the right number in the Linear Factor - then all is okay. For now the Linear Factor seems to use 1:12 as the standard.
Thank you both for your help!
