Is there a way to transfer my Application Preferences from the Qcad on my PC to my new Mac mini?
Thanks

Yes, you can simply transfer the file QCAD3.ini.

This tutorial describes where you can find the file on various systems:

I found the ini file using Finder on my Mac. But I also saw a file named qcadOld.ini. Is that file automatically created? And does it contain the default application settings?

Yes, I suppose that it is the version before the most recent update.

Not necessarily.
The above mentioned link explains how to reset your configuration.
On loading QCAD will generate a new initialization file with the default application settings.

You could preserve that as current default reference but I see no reason why.
The way to get this for each new version is simplistic enough.

I usually don't delete the ini/config file, I rename and/or preserve the active one or the previous one before updating or reinstalling.
Just curious to see what has changed or what has been added.
