Any time I grab my Apple Magic Mouse, it randomly zooms (or scrolls, depending on the prefs) which is very annoying and slows down my work. The mouse seems to be oversensitive to touch. Other mouses are not like that, and other apps either. Is there any way to stop that, other than using a mouse with a wheel? I tried to adjust the zoom speed in QCAD prefs but it didn't help much.
Thanks

What setting did you use for the zoom speed?

Re: Apple Magic Mouse zoom problem
Marti,
Hopefully changing the zoom factor as mentioned by Andrew will solve your issue. However, in my opinion, the Magic Mouse is absolutely terrible for CAD applications. Even after changing the zoom factor, I found it impossible to zoom in and out with any precision and repeatability. Just my $.02

Re: Apple Magic Mouse zoom problem
Thanks for your advice, changing the zoom factor helps.
I like the Magic Mouse for a couple of reasons: a) scrolling is much smoother than with a wheel mouse, b) I don't have to constantly lift my finger on the wheel to zoom, and c) switching between views/apps with a two finger horizontal swipe is really fast, d) hand/wrist position is more relaxed because the mouse is flatter.
Thanks

I'm glad it is working well for you. I do like the Magic mouse for apps for those reasons.
