QCAD 3.27.1.0 on Windows 10
Hi all
A mostlikely stupid beginner question. Unfortunately I could not find an answer in the docs or the forum.
Lets assume a circle of diameter 100.
When I add a dimension, the program shows the value of 100 as expected.
When I now change the circle via its properties e.g. to diameter 80 the dimension stays at 100.
How to I link a dimension to an object?
Goal is that the dimension dynmaically gets adjusted to the actual object's size.
Thanks
Tom

Re: Link dimension to object
The feature that you're mentioning is commonplace in more advanced parametric modeling programs, where the properties of one object can be related to another. QCAD does not have parametric functionality, so the dimensions do not get linked in that manner to geometry. If you change the size of an object, you would have to change or replace the dimension.
