Yes, with a workaround ...
Convert the two lines to a polyline, explode then the polyline and you'll get one joined line.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Convert to a polyline with OG + Simplify option ticked or with OC what uses simplify by default.
One can also simplify an existing polyline with OS using a certain degree of tolerance.

Convert to a polyline with OG + Simplify option ticked
OG is the shortcut for 'Polyline from Segments'

The Tolerance option is the connect tolerance.
Simplify unchecked, it will not merge any line segments at all.
Checked, it can merge some segments depending a value epsilon.
It will not merge all matching arc segments.

OC is the shortcut for 'Polyline from Selection'.
This method uses simplification by default.
The options of OC can be found under Application Preferences.

Epsilon is governed by the Draw .. Polyline .. Simplify method (OS)

Thanks CVH, your explanation is great. The key that I was missing, was the Simplify checkbox.
