[Solved] Text Bounding Box

Looking through the forum to see if there was a way to automatically box a string of text that I hadn't discovered yet, I came across this thread. https://qcad.org/rsforum/viewtopic.php? ... ext#p28423

Husky, when I tried this feature the box that was created had no margin, but your examples did. Did you go in and change the size of the text after the fact or something else?

First I used "Draw Bounding Box" and then the "Offset with distance" tool. Option: "Offset whole Polyline". Yes I know - it isn't a polyline but it works despite that fact if you don't click directly on the bounding box ....

Gottcha, and then you would either delete the first box or perhaps made those first boxes on their own layer and then just hide/unplot that layer.
