I try to save the settings in QCad, such as dimension style and so on, but every time I start up again, the changes I made have disappeared. How can I change this?

Re: DEFAULT SETTINGS
Settings for new drawing can be changed under Edit > Application Preferences > Defaults for New Drawings
Changing the settings for the current drawing (Edit > Drawing Preferences) has no effect on new drawings.
If you cannot solve the problem, please provide more details such as:
- Operating system in use
- Menu used to change settings
- Which settings are changed
- Screenshots
- etc.

Re: DEFAULT SETTINGS
I use Windows 10 64 bit
I did change the settings according to your suggestions, but everytime I start QCad again, or I start a new drawing, the system returns to some default settings: (see picture)
anything I change here is ok for the one drawing, which is normal I guess, but when I change these settings in Application Preferences, nothing happens, not even after restart.

Re: DEFAULT SETTINGS
Hi,
These are the settings of the current drawing.
Please provide us also a screenshot of:
Application Preferences > Defaults for New Drawings > Dimension Settings.
You may want to read the important text in red.

Re: Default Settings
Do you use a customized "Default Template" for new drawings?
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
