[solved] Dimension issue after updating to QCAD Pro 3.26.1

Post by HGR » Thu Apr 08, 2021 3:32 pm

Hi all,

I have a question regarding the dimensions shown in a drawing.
In QCAD Pro 3.25.2 I added the dimensions, leading to the right values (exactly according to the X and Y rulers). So 292 on the Y axis is shown as 292 in the dimension label. After updating to QCAD Pro 3.26.1 the same dimension (292 on the Y axis) is shown as 3325.7403, roughly 11.389522 times too high. Ref the screenshot taken from the pdf export.
When I first used 3.26.1 I got a message concerning dimensions, but unfortunately I forgot it. In order to solve it, I uninstalled QCAD (without and with deleting the QCAD remains I found in the program directory), but no improvement. And of course I tried to edit the drawing preferences, same result.

Could you help, what can I do to get back the proper dimensions in my drawing?

My setup: Win10 20H2 64bits Build 19042.867; QCAD Pro 3.25.2 (Qt version 5.13.2) and QCAD Pro 3.26.1

Very likely the issue is the scale while drawing a dimension:

If you cannot solve the issue, please attach your drawing file, so we can help efficiently, thanks.
