Moving an object, relative to another object

Could you please let me know if there is a way of moving an object parallel to a specified line etc.

Parallel (through) LG? Then delete construction line.

Hi,
If you choose the reference point on the line, then click another point on the same line. That should do it.

Also OG works... each (LG and OH) require a construction line before the actual move. I'm sure there's an easier way though.

edit: accidentally type "OG", not "OH".
