[solved] How Do I can print a line?

Post by MarcelloP » Mon Mar 15, 2021 3:10 pm

Is the something I can't understand. I'm sure it's my problem, but i'd like to to learn how to handle the type of line.

If I choose a line type, for example Divide (in Italian Dividi) I can't se exctly the line showed in the choice, but just a continous line, but If I change the Global scale for the type of line I can se the segmented line. If I print it in a PDF file I always see the continous line.

Please could you give me an explanation about that? is there in the manual? I can't find it

Is the vertical line over the tank in the attached pdf and dwg.

1. Reset the global linetype scale to 1
This will fix the line type in the print preview as well as on print outs and PDFs

2. In model space, activate screen-based linetypes
View > Screen-based Linetypes

This will make sure that even in model space (where lines are far to long to show those tiny linetype patterns), you can distinguish linetypes.

You can make this setting permanent under:
Edit > Application Preferences > Graphics View > Appearance > Auto switch to screen based linetypes in model view
