Imorting DXF file

Hi all

I have made a template with an origin of 0,0. I need to import a land surveying DXF file whose origin is (say) 100000, 300000. If I import the file the template disappears, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

One would typically load the surveying DXF (model space) and then switch to a layout block and add the title block and border there (paper space). Then add a viewport to the layout block. A viewport is a "window" that shows (part of) your surveying DXF drawing.
