From a QCAD user:
Is there a hotkey to minimize the QCAD application window?

Under Windows (for all applications):
Windows-Key + Down arrow

macOS (for all applications):
Command-M

Linux (for all applications):
Ubuntu >= 12: Ctrl-Alt-0 (on the numeric keypad) or configured hotkey
Others: depends on the distribution, window manager and user configuration, please use an Internet search engine to search for the default hotkey for your setup.

Maybe worth to mention ...

Windows has 3 standard sizes for Program windows ...

1. Maximized
2. Restore down (last remembered size between Maximized and Minimized
3. Minimized

... what means to minimized a maximized program window you have to use Windows-Key + Down arrow TWO times.

If you prefer to minimize it in just one step you can use Alt+Space+n
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
